Where are their apps? At the bottom of the app list, below everything with sponsorship dollars, impossible to find? On another platform because they can’t afford Apple’s small developer fee? This app shows an introductory computer graphics exercise of poor quality, and I worry for all the software artists who have nurtured for months handmade solar system simulations that are both accurate and beautiful. I myself have made, for fun and for free, multiple experiences just like this one, with far better imagery, snappier textures, an actual atmosphere on the planet, real HDR brightness … It looks like it was made as an excuse to offer advertisements to people, with no artistic love for the work at all. So many of these have been made since the dawn of computer graphics, that it saddens me to see something of such poor quality.
